Bulgaria for pensioners

Bulgaria for pensioners
Bulgaria for pensioners

If you are already retired or just getting ready to get this status, then you should carefully study all the advantages that it offersBulgaria is for pensioners. This is especially true for those who live in large cities, tired of the senseless turmoil of the metropolis, eternal traffic jams, unjustified high cost of services and low quality products.  The desire to have a calm and prosperous old age, to enjoy sunny days and blooming nature, to rejoice in the growing grandchildren, to be able to maintain their health and physical fitness is not only natural, but also quite feasible!
Bulgaria for pensioners offers excellent conditions both on the Black Sea coast and when choosing thermal or ski resorts in Bulgaria for living. In any case, the prospects are excellent: the sun, the sea, the mountains, thermal springs and a moderately warm climate, which is much healthier than Moscow smog or St. Petersburg bad weather.

Endless traffic jams, which have become a given of Russian roads, make the flight to Varna, Burgas or Sofia much more comfortable and faster than the way to a suburban cottage. And even the most avid summer residents admit that the cottage often takes more effort and money than it gives pleasure and benefits. And the short summer season limits the already small opportunities for full-fledged outdoor recreation.

On a Russian pension, often not exceeding 10 thousand rubles a month, it is difficult to live a full life, especially in a big city. Bulgaria has ideal conditions for pensioners from this point of view! After all, the average salary in this country is about 250 euros. Therefore, it is in Bulgaria that Russian pensioners can feel like rich foreigners. In addition, many pensioners, leaving for permanent or temporary residence in the resorts of Bulgaria, rent out their apartments and have an additional stable income. Some, moving to Bulgaria, help solve the housing issue for their children, since buying real estate in Bulgaria is much more affordable than in Russia.

Life in Bulgaria
The opportunity to eat organic products, local fruits and vegetables, real farm meat, fish and seafood of excellent quality and at an affordable price is another indisputable plus that Bulgaria offers for pensioners. Bulgarian cuisine is famous for traditional fermented milk products, juicy tomatoes, colorful peppers, fresh meat, Black Sea fish and local wine.

What also distinguishes Bulgaria from other countries is the absence of a language and cultural barrier for Russian pensioners. Friendly environment, Orthodox faith, similarity of mentality and common history and traditions. Bulgarian is similar to Ukrainian, and you can also explain yourself in Russian, Bulgarians will understand. On average, it takes 2-3 weeks to understand the local nuances.

Thanks to the large number of our compatriots, and official statistics already speak of more than 100 thousand Russians owning real estate in Bulgaria, you will not feel lonely and uncomfortable. A Russian-language channel has been operating in Bulgaria for a long time, in addition, cable TV allows you to watch all the usual Russian channels. Newspapers and magazines in Russian are published here, pop stars and theater troupes from Russia come on tour.

For pensioners from Russia, life in Bulgaria becomes an opportunity to enjoy every day and hour. Beaches and the sea, ski and thermal resorts, walks in the mountains and in protected parks, horseback riding and cycling, fishing in mountain rivers, lakes or with access to the sea, attending concerts, exhibitions and vernissages - all this can be done in Bulgaria. Bulgaria's rich cultural and historical heritage makes it possible to satisfy the craving for knowledge. There will be interesting activities for grandchildren.

For lovers of a quieter life, you can spend the whole day in your own garden, and in the warm evening enjoy the sunset with a glass of homemade wine from your own vineyard. Wherever you are in Bulgaria, you will feel the charm of a traditional lifestyle, peacefully combined with a modern level of comfort.

Bulgarian residence permit for Russian pensioners
And the main thing that you should know is that the relocation of Russian pensioners to Bulgaria is legally supported at the state level, and obtaining a residence permit (residence permit) is greatly simplified.

According to the legislation, people can receive their pension in the state where they live. The money is converted into foreign currency and transferred to an account in a Bulgarian bank, which is not difficult to open. Another option is to apply for a pension by transfer to a plastic card in a Russian bank and use this card abroad, coming to Russia no more than once every three years.

Having your own home in Bulgaria gives you the right to receive a multiple-entry annual visa for the owner and all members of his family. The maximum period of stay on such a visa is 90 days for six months, or 180 days a year. In addition, there is a special program for the resettlement of retired foreigners to Bulgaria.

A Russian pensioner will be able to obtain a visa for long-term stay (immigration visa D) if he has the minimum sufficient funds to stay in the country for a year (about 2 thousand euros in the account) and is provided with a pension in Russia. To do this, an agreement is concluded on the transfer of a Russian pension to an account in a Bulgarian bank. It is necessary to provide a translated and notarized certificate in Bulgaria on the pension received in Russia for three months. You also need to have your own housing or a rental agreement. As you can see, the requirements are low and quite capable of pensioners from Russia.
