Above the portal there is a bust of Atlas with an index finger on his lips, and under the cornice in the facade are mounted the coats of arms of the nobleman Schweiger and his wife, on whose orders this palace was built.The interior of this famous Baroque palace is decorated with stucco ceilings, an interesting staircase and parts of the original interior decoration.The Schweiger Palace, or Lily Novy's House, is not only an architectural monument, but also a historical and cultural one, closely associated with the Austro-Hungarian court, Preshern, and a number of prominent cultural figures from Slovenia and Austria.
