Rimini is the best resort in Italy

Rimini is the best resort in Italy

History of Rimini

The foundation of Rimini was in 268 BC. The founders were the Romans, who used the city as an outpost that helped to develop the valley of the Po River and repel the raids of Gallic tribes. The city was located at the place where the Ariminus River flowed into the Adriatic Sea. The "roots" of the name of Rimini have not been precisely established, but, according to the assumption of a well-known historian, the city owes its name to the king of the Umbers Arimno, who was killed here.

During the Gothic-Byzantine wars in the middle of the VI century, Rimini changed hands several times. As a result, he found himself under the protection of Byzantium. The eighth century was a very difficult period for the population of Rimini. They were constantly attacked by the Saracens, led by Sabba. Then the city was captured by the Lombards, but in 735 the Byzantines conquered Rimini.

Climate features

The climate of Rimini is a peculiar mixture of continental and Mediterranean climate. In summer, the coast is exposed to the pleasant effect of a light sea breeze, which changes direction from the Mistral to the Sirocco in a day. In winter, the wind is much stronger. Its speed can reach 40 m/sec, and the wind itself necessarily precedes the cooling.

Spring in Rimini is characterized by sunny days. At the end of spring, the water warms up well, so many vacationers start visiting the sea beaches early enough. Autumn in Rimini is very warm, by its end the rainy season begins. In general, the local autumn and spring are very similar.

In summer, the air temperature is about 30 ° C and almost never rises above. This allows tourists to sunbathe more than 10 hours a day.

A distinctive feature of the climate in Rimini is a hot winter and high humidity. The average temperature is about 5°C, frosts and fogs are very rare.

Beaches of Rimini

The location of the beaches of Rimini requires special attention. They are spread along the coastline, and their total length is about 15 km. All beaches are distinguished by soft fine sand, impeccable cleanliness, magnificent views and shallow sea depth. This advantage will be appreciated by families with young children.

The infrastructure of the beaches of Rimini is simply magnificent. Tourists can enjoy a wide range of interesting activities:

  • catamaran rental (rowing);
  • paraflying (lifting parachute);
  • rental of boards with motor, sail;
  • rental of sailing, rubber, motor boats;
  • water bike rental.

On most beaches there are specialized schools for mastering the skills of managing the above-mentioned transport, where highly qualified specialists work. Also, on many beaches there are special places where it is allowed to relax with dogs, regardless of their breed.

Parks

Mandatory to visit are the city parks of Rimini. They were created mainly in the 60-70 's . The twentieth century. The oldest is considered to be "O giardino di Piazza Ferrar"i, landscaped in 1887.

The largest park in Rimini "Parco Marecchia" occupies 250 sq. m. The second largest is "Parco della Cava". All city parks are well landscaped, fascinate with their beauty and give you the opportunity to admire a piece of Italian nature to your heart's content.

There is also a water park in Rimini called "Aquafan", located between Rimini Airport and Ancona. This is an ideal place for tourist leisure. This park is considered one of the best in Europe.

Attractions

Like most Italian cities, Rimini is very rich in sights - "traces" of the culture and history of the ancient city.

Tre-Martiri Square

The "Three Martyrs" Square, named after the Italian partisans of the Second World War, is located in the "heart" of the city and serves as a center for the most important city events. There is also a tribune (or rather all that remains), from which, according to some historians, Julius Caesar delivered his speech. The tribune itself is decorated with a statue of the greatest ruler.

Fountain of Four Horses

This fountain is located in the most beautiful park named after Federico Fellini is the symbol of the Adriatic Riviera. The fountain is more than a hundred years old, it "survived" the war and was restored after its completion.

The structure is decorated with four horses, from whose nostrils water jets come out, falling into the base of a round shape.

The horses support a large bowl. A stream of water escapes from the center of the bowl. Another important component of the composition is a memorial plaque on which the name of the architect Hugo Sentori, who took part in the restoration of the structure, is located.

The fountain is very beautiful in the evening, after turning on the backlight. It is an ideal place for dating and romantic meetings. Locals like to read a book here or just sit on a bench.

Fountain "Bump"

An ancient fountain (1543) from the era of the mighty Roman Empire. For a long time (until the beginning of the twentieth century), the fountain served as an alternative source of fresh water. There is a bump at the top of the fountain, which caused the name of the attraction.

St. Nicholas Cathedral

The Cathedral of St. Nicholas is a relatively new building (mid-twentieth century), located near the Rimini train station. The cathedral was rebuilt on the site of the church of San Lorenzo, completely destroyed during the war. The relics of St. Nicholas, which are now located in the cathedral, have been kept in this church since 1177.

The Arch of August

TriumphalArch August of the ancient Roman era has a height of 9 meters. It was erected in honor of Octavian Augustus, the famous emperor. The main value of the structure lies in the fact that it is the oldest triumphal arch in all of Europe.

The arch is beautifully decorated with bas-reliefs, columns of ancient Roman gods. In the upper part of the structure, you can see brick battlements attached instead of the equestrian statue of Augustus, which was destroyed. It is this arch that is depicted on the coat of arms of Rimini.

Port of Rimini

The city port is the most important economic point and at the same time a famous attraction for visitors to the city. There are two piers in the port that serve as a marina for fishing boats, yachts with tourists, merchant ships. Fairs and bazaars are sometimes held here, where you can buy interesting goods for a penny. In addition, the port is one of the most romantic places in Rimini, offering excellent views, especially at sunset.

Sculpture "Camera"

The sculpture is a real work of modern art. It is dedicated to Federico Felini, a famous Italian director. The sculpture "Camera" is located on the square named after the great master. Many tourists pretend that they are photographing with the help of sculpture. This is an excellent angle for a real photograph.

Palazzo Brioli and the Clock Tower

The most beautiful building on the Tre-Martiri Square. The creation of the castle dates back to the 16th century, the towers - the 17th. Many famous people have visited here - D. Verdi, the Prince of Savoy, etc.

The palace is an attractive structure. The Clock Tower also somewhat betrays its considerable age. Forged ornaments, ancient masonry, a cross, a bell indicate the medieval origin of the building. The key element is the "Eternal Astrological Calendar" located on the facade. At night, all this is highlighted, providing a beautiful view.

Over the past few years, there has been a rapid increase in real estate prices in the Israeli real estate market, which is why the markets began to gradually fade - the number of sales decreased every month.

Israel as an excellent real estate market for foreigners has been open for more than six years. Due to the rise in real estate prices in 2020, many, especially Russians - due to the abolition of the visa regime, are eager to invest in Israel's growing housing.

The Real Estate Valuation Department of the Israeli Ministry of Justice provided the public with such information. In major cities: Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and others, the cost of housing continues to rise.

Good news for those who intend to buy an apartment in Jerusalem or find a good ground for investment! The Jerusalem Mayor's Office has approved the construction of more than five hundred new properties in the city.

The incessant rise in housing prices in Israel in large cities leads to the fact that fewer and fewer people have the opportunity to purchase it. Therefore, the popularity of the real estate market of large Israeli cities is gradually falling. Especially after the coronavirus. People have no money left at all.

Alupka is a small, but very attractive seaside town for foreign tourists. Being very close to other resort centers - Yalta, Simeiz, this city has found something to stand out, and therefore there are always many people who want to buy a house in Alupka.

How to buy a house in Yalta.  Real estate prices in Crimea remain stable, and the purchasing power of citizens is falling - in light of this, it is a sin not to take advantage of the opportunity and not buy a house in Yalta - one of the most popular Crimean resort cities.

It would seem a stupid question - what can you have fun in such a popular, fashionable and developed resort as Alanya? But many tourists who come here do not know half of the entire entertainment potential of the city, so it is worth briefly describing it.

Surely everyone who has only recently been able to buy a house in Mahmutlar, there was a need to purchase a large number of things. The residents of the town have a great opportunity to help each other, sell unnecessary things and buy necessary things from neighbors! Booking a table for sales cost only 5 lire.

Turkish Alanya can rightfully claim to be the "sunniest" resort: the number of sunny days here is rarely less than three hundred. The climate in Alanya is warm, there is no sea hardness, cold winds.
