Now every citizen of a foreign power can, if he has permanent residence, work in the state apparatus of the country. The information was confirmed by Jiri Rusnok (Prime Minister of BP. Government). The law clearly outlines all the conditions under which a foreigner can become an applicant for this job. The Government sees no reason why, in. citizens can be denied this job.
"As for high positions, it is clearly stipulated here by the "Service Law" that only a citizen of the Czech Republic can apply for them. But foreign citizens can also become minor officials, if they have permanent residence in the Czech Republic," commented Frantisek Konicek, who holds the post of Minister of Labor.
