New electric transport plant in Minsk

The modern economy is characterized by a high degree of interaction of companies with each other and the transfer of capital beyond the borders of their country. So a plant for the production of electric transport will appear in Minsk - the first such plant in the whole republic. The Swiss company Stadler was the initiator of the construction, 25 million euros were invested in the first stage of the plant's creation.

The construction of the plant is carried out in the city of Fanipol. To create this enterprise, Stadler has teamed up with the state-owned Belkommunmash in Belarus, the plant will produce electric transport of urban and railway type. To combine efforts, the two companies created JSC "Electric Transport". Swiss Stadler owns 60% of the shares of Electric Transport, contributing almost 110 billion to it. Belarusian rubles.

The construction of the plant was started in October last year. Currently, the supporting structures of the future electric transport factory are at the production stage. The first stage of the creation of electric transport production is planned to be completed at the end of this year, so that by the Ice Hockey World Championship, which will be held in the Republic of Belarus in 2014, the country already had its own electric trains produced by Electric Transport OJSC.
